Who we are

Spiritual Freedom in the Kingdom (Spiritual Dependence on God)

We at Gold Street Foundation believe that every born-again believer should be able to grow in Christ until we are fully dependent on God. The only way to do this is to know the Truth which should lead us to grow closer to the Lord and at the same time be able to know the purpose for our being on earth. God created us in His own image first and foremost so that we may fellowship with Him. When our relationship with God is growing, then in Him we begin to discover the purpose for our lives. Many Christians remain at the same level of maturity for a long time because we are not exposed to the genuine TRUTH who is Jesus our Lord. It is in getting to know Jesus that we are freed from the hold of the world. We are living at a time where deception has grown to dangerous level. The most prevailing condition in the church is that one of ignorance in regards to our rights as believers and we know little about He whom we have believed. The Kingdom of darkness has held many in captivity and that includes believers who should not be under the same bondage as people who are not born again.

Our call and mandate is to be able to:
  1. EVANGELISM – Reach out to those who have not known Jesus Christ as Lord. This will be accomplished by organizing and training believers to become sensitive to the call of God in reconciling people back to Christ Jesus
  2. DISCIPLESHIP – Disciple believers who are young in salvation and seeing them grow to maturity in such a way that they too can begin reaching out to others.
  3. TEACHING – Teach believers who are still ignorant of their position and authority in Christ. This will be accomplished by holding seminars and conferences that are geared on teaching the Word of God.
  4. WORSHIP – Raising a generation of worshippers who have known the truth of the gospel enough to do it in Spirit and in Truth. There is a deception out there in music that presents worship to be what it is not. This will be done by training singers, producing music, organizing concerts and ultimately building worship centers for God.
  5. PRAYER – Raise a generation of people who can be able to pray for the purposes of God to be done in our day. A people that can raise altars of prayer and stand to pray on behalf of our families, businesses and our calling.
Kingdom Economic Independence (Economic Independence)

Gold Street Foundation has a mandate to teach the body of Christ on matters regarding finances. This area has been overly abused by many so called preachers who have taught different things for the purpose of selfish gain. However, the fact that people have been taken advantage of through false teachings does not mean that there is no truth in the fact that God wants His children to live above their needs.

Part of the mandate on Gold Street Foundation is:

  • TEACHING KINGDOM PRINCIPLES – Teach the whole Gospel of prosperity and the Kingdom laws that govern Finances.

  • BUSINESS TRAINING – Train believers on how to grow their business from scratch to a large organization. This will be accomplished by having trainings that can help those who have small businesses to grow.

  • FINANCIAL UNIONS – Bring Christians in business and any other interested persons together in order to pull our resources. This will enable us to accomplish what may not be accomplished on individual basis.

  • BUSINESS ALTARS – Raise a people who can pray to take back what the enemy had held back from us. This can be accomplished by raising prayer altars that can stand to raise the banner of Christ

THE BURDEN

This vision arm that God has given Gold Street Foundation is to help the church to rise up to a place in God where we can be financially independent. We believe God gave each and every one of us a gift or talent that can be used to not only serve God but also establish the church economically. It is possible that God can help us to be at a place where we are working, serving God and at the same time having all our needs met. The journey of life is one of constant discovery of the hidden treasures that God has put in each and every one of us. The life of a believer does not have to be characterized by perpetual lack, poverty and penury. This work can be accomplished specifically by looking at the possibilities of raising individuals who can also grow enough to form a unity in the market place by bringing their resources together and making a greater impact as a group rather than as individuals. Two are always better than one. The bible says one can chase a thousand but two can chase 10,000. That just means that there is safety in numbers as well as a greater impact whenever there is unity. 

Kingdom Social Reformation (Social Interdependence)

God created us humans to be social creatures. In other words we can’t survive without other people. It is impossible to change alone and you will need the influence of others to encourage you. It’s a common saying that no man is an Island. The purposes of God in leaving us here on earth is so that we can be an influence, a light, salt and a pointer to who God is and how He does things. The Kingdom of God is not an earthly Kingdom so the culture is also heavenly.

When God created Adam and Eve, He told them to be fruitful and to multiply and fill the earth. According to Isaiah 45:18 and Acts 17:28,God wanted the earth to be inhabited and dominated with the Kingdom of Heaven. The earth would then be an extension of God’s kingdom as it is in heaven.

The world has come together in communities and that way, they have more influence than the body of Christ. Communities like UN, AU, EAC, 42 tribes of Kenya. As believers, we must understand that we are not from earth but from heaven. We came to earth from heaven to fulfill a godly purpose in us. That is why the bible encourages us to come together and understand that God wants to fill the earth with the culture of heaven. A culture is spread by the expansion of a community and the gospel is a story of our King in heaven coming to introduce the Kingdom of heaven.

In Genesis 28:2-4, Isaac blessed Jacob and told him to grow and become a community of people. It is good to know that the most powerful influence on earth is Community. Community incubates culture, culture creates the man.

A community is a commune of unity dedicated to corporate success through common laws, values, standards and social norms. Jesus came to announce another culture of doing things God’s ways. Matthew 13:33 says the Kingdom of God is like yeast, it infects everything else. Christians need to understand that we were called to be a community that can influence the world.

There are cultures that we came from and they have no co-relation with Kingdom lifestyle. The world has a culture of worrying, no miracles, lack, death, immorality etc. The Kingdom is very different.

As Gold Street Foundation, our mandate to the body of Christ is

  1. To help reach out to the needy and less fortunate in society by building centers of hope and supporting present centers of hope.

  2. Help family integration through ministering to widows, drug addicts, help people come out of addictions, prostitution, child pregnancies through training and establishing them into a more worthwhile cause.

  3. Projects that can help believers own land, build houses, and reach life goals through communal and a common vision.
